Adding Funds to Your Steam Wallet:
- Add funds via Steam
Log in to your Steam account.
Click the [Your username]'s Account link in the upper right hand corner to be directed to your account details.
On the right hand side of your account details page there is a blue box that displays your current Wallet Balance.
Directly under the Wallet Balance, there is a link to add funds to your Steam Wallet
Viewing Current Steam Wallet Balance
- Log in to your Steam account.
The current available balance will be listed in the upper right hand corner next to [Your username]'s Account.
Recently Added Wallet Funds Have Not Appeared
In most cases, the new funds will automatically be displayed in your account. If the issue persists for more than two hours after completing your transaction, please do the following:
- Restart the Steam Client
- Ensure that you have logged in to the correct account that the purchase was made to.
- If the updated amount is still incorrect, please contact Steam Support for assistance.
How do I redeem a Steam Wallet Code?
- Pick up the Wallet Code card which has the dollar amount you would like to purchase.
- Take to the check out. Once paid for, the clerk will give you a receipt with a 15-digit code on it.
- Go http://www.steampowered.com/wallet and sign in if you aren't already.
- In the resulting screen enter your code into the “Steam Wallet Code” field.
- Click Continue.
- Now you will have the amount of denomination of the wallet card added to your Steam Wallet which is viewable in the upper right corner of Steam.
When in the “Review + Purchase” step during checkout click “My Steam Wallet” as a payment method. The cost of the item you purchase and the associated tax will be deducted from your wallet funds.
